Check out our latest reviews...

Hi everyone, here are 2 of our latest reviews.  Both are wedding photography recommendations.

"We were so pleased to have Paul and Elora as our photographers. They were both extremely professional and friendly. At our engagement shoot, Paul even offered my husband his own clothes to make the pics turn out better! During our bridal party shoot, they were very accommodating and creative. At one point I asked Paul for a certain photo and he responded "Whatever you want" . That was very important to us. During the ceremony and reception, we felt that we got all the important pictures without the photographer being in the way of the guests as had been the case in some weddings I had previously attended. Our family is still raving about the photos and we have already recommended Paul and Elora to a few of our engaged friends, one of which have already booked with Paul for their upcoming wedding. My husband and I would definitley book with Paul and Elora again for a major event and we highly recommend them".

"We had such a great experience with Paul. Our wedding shoot was fun and we really didn't have to think about what we were doing. The assistant was there to help us pose and fix our hair etc. We will recommend them to anyone we meet who needs a photographer! You won't be disappointed!!! Thanks again for capturing some really fun memories!".

Wedding shots in the studio?

Did you know you can have your official wedding portraits done at the studio?  As soon as the ceremony is over you can come back to our studio and sit for some beautifully posed portraits that will grace any wall at home.  Instead of the usual rushed shots while everyone is trying to talk to you, come and get some relaxed, controlled pictures where you are perfectly posed and looking how you want to be.  Meanwhile, the guests are mingling and having something to eat.  You show up an hour later and are announced into the reception to join in with the festivities!  Done.

Wedding photography styles...HELP!

You're looking around various websites for a wedding photographer and each one tells you what style of photography they shoot.  Great, right?  But what does it all mean?  Well, let us set the record straight for you right now.  Here are the styles of photography offered by photographers and a description of what they mean...

Traditional: The photographer works solely from a
pre-determined "shot list" of images requested by the
bride and groom. The list generally includes posed
shots, as well as, candid images taken at
pre-arranged events (i.e., bride and groom cutting the
cake).

- Photojournalism: The photographer moves through
the wedding capturing special moments as he or she
finds them. Generally, the photographer does not use
an established list of shots.

- Creative: Photographers place the subjects in
certain settings to take advantage of good lighting or
beautiful backgrounds. Once the scene is set, the
couple and their party are free to be themselves,
resulting in a more spontaneous feel. Unlike the
photojournalism style, creative photography takes
advantage of the photographer's artistic judgment
rather than simply capturing a series of moments.

- Fine Art: Photographers blend a specific art form
(such as Surrealism) with actual images, candid or
prearranged, from the wedding.
